Great Styling, But falls short on Technicals

First off, the u845 is a great looking laptop. The brushed aluminum look is extremely sleek, it's highly reminiscent of a mac but with an edge. The backlit keyboard is pretty nice, there's a function to keep it on using a timer, turner on constantly, or just turn it off altogether. The keyboard is slightly cramped, but manageable, however the technical performance falls short. Namely the hybrid hard drive w/ "Hi-speed Start Technology." I was expecting the hybrid hdd to perform quickly, but no. The start-up seems to be only slightly shorter than a regular 7200 hdd, which is really disappointing. As en everyday laptop, I think it's overpriced. There are similarly spec'd laptops that are cheaper but probably lacks the design aesthetics that the u845 has.
